| Hi Beer Lovers, This is a helpful video showing you the Simple Steps On How To Home Brew A True Lager Style Beer. These instructions are for Kegging Brewers. It is much the same as your everyday Beer Brewing (Ale) with the exception of the need for temperature control. Lagers ferment at much lower temperatures than your everyday kit Ales. Typically, a Lager will ferment at between 4ºC to 15ºC depending on the strain of the Lager Yeast you're using. Equipment: - Sanitiser - Food Grade Fermentation Drum (With Lid) - Secondary Food Grade Drum for Storage and Lagering - Boiling/Mixing Pot - Mixing Spoon - Thermometer - Air Lock Consumables: - Wort Pack - Fermentables (eg Dextrose, Dry Malt Extract, Corn Starch) - Yeast (True Lager Strain) - Chilled Clean Water - Clean Ice (For Cooling The Wort) Directions: Once you have obtained all the required Equipment and Consumables, you're ready to go! 1. Clean and Sanitise all equipment thoroughly. 2. In your Boiling Pot dissolve your Wort Pack and Fermantables. 3. Use the Clean Ice to cool the Wort. 4. Pour the Wort into the Fermenter and add the Chilled Water. 5. Stir and aerate the Wort and thoroughly. 6. Add warm/cool water to achieve a temperature of 15oC (59oF). 7. Pitch Yeast and gently stir in (It is now considered Beer). 8. Fit Lid and Airlock. 9. Place your Fermenter into the Fridge. 10. Monitor the Fridge temperature to maintain 15oC (59oF). 11.
