Международный день детской книги

Начиная с 1967 года, по инициативе и решению Международного совета по детской книге 2 апреля, в день рождения великого сказочника Ханса Кристиана Андерсена, весь мир отмечает Международный день детской книги. Каждый год одна из национальных секций Международного совета по детской книге выступает спонсором этого замечательного праздника. По традиции, лучшие детские писатели в этот день приветствуют ребят своими посланиями, а лучшие художники рисуют плакаты, посвященные детской книге. В 2009 году плакат подготовила египетская секция Совета по детской книге. В России этот день завершает традиционную Неделю детской книги, проходящую в дни весенних школьных каникул. В Петербурге Неделю детской книги отмечают городская секция Совета по детской книге России, детские библиотеки города и Ленинградской области, детские журналы «Костер», «Автобус», «Чиж и Ёж», издательства «Детгиз» и «Азбука», Добровольное общество любителей книги. В эти дни проходят встречи с писателями, выставки, презентации новых книг, конкурсы, театрализованные представления. Невский проспект, 28, - Дом книги Б. Детская книга празднует день рождения

Кто много читает - тот много знает. 2 апреля - Всемирный день детской книги. Основанный в 1967 году к годовщине со дня рождения Г.-Х. Андерсена, праздник быстро стал популярным. Этот день - повод напомнить детям о важности чтения. Обычно День детской книги библиотекари отмечают встречами с юными читателями.В библиотеки приходят воспитанники детских садов и школ. Дети знакомятся с книгами и узнают о правилах пользования ими. Маленьких книголюбов Красного Луча обслуживают 3 специализированные детские библиотеки. Библиотекари отмечают: детская книга постепенно утрачивает популярность. Современные дети больше интересуются телевидением и Интернетом. Поэтому к книгам обращаются неохотно. В библиотеках чаще спрашивают литературу по школьной программе, справочники и модные фантастические издания. "День детской книги - праздник полезный и нужный," - считают библиотекари. Вместе со школами они стараются зародить в детях любовь к литературе. Ежегодно библиотеки получают новые издания - яркие и красиво оформленные. В них мальчики и девочки могут найти полезное для себя, почерпнуть знания. А также научиться прекрасному. Ведь именно в детстве формируется основа личности, её будущий характер. И важно, чтобы у детей был хороший повод для подражания. Такой, какой дарят книги.
