Летят журавли / Cranes are Flying

По мотивам пьесы В.Розова "Вечно живые". Война разлучила двух влюбленных - Бориса и Веронику. Он ушел на фронт добровольцем, ее родители погибли во время бомбежки, и она поселилась в семье Бориса. Юноша пропал без вести. Сломленная несчастьями, Вероника выходит замуж за брата Бориса Марка.В эвакуации она работает в госпитале, которым руководит отец Бориса и Марка. Муж незаконно добывает себе бронь, дарит белку, подаренную Веронике Борисом, случайной знакомой. Вероника корит себя за измену и уходит от мужа. Кончилась война. Вероника в надежде, что Борис вернется, встречает фронтовиков на вокзале. Друг героя Степан сообщает ей, что видел гибель ее любимого. PAL-V Flying Car - Maiden Flight

This week the Dutch company PAL-V announced the first flights of its prototype "flying car". This unique vehicle is called the PAL-V One, or the 'Personal Air and Land Vehicle', and It marks the start of a new era. On the ground the vehicle drives like a sports car. Within minutes its rotor is unfolded and its tail is extended: then it is ready to take off thanks to the advanced gyrocopter technology. With these successful test results it is proven that it is not only possible to build a flying car but also that it can be done within existing international rules for both flying and driving. Having passed this important milestone the company is now inviting investors to join them in creating the future. The next step will be the design of the first commercial production model of the PAL-V, and first deliveries are expected in 2014. For 100 years people have dreamed of a flying car, and many attempts have been made to realize this dream, but now it has truly become a reality. www.PAL-V.com

David Copperfield - Flying (Levitation)

David Copperfield flies like a bird, pushing against the wind. He then flies through rotating hoops and then sealed inside a glass box, to prove there is nothing supporting him. This was first shown on television during 1992, for Copperfield's 14th magic special, The magic of David Copperfield XIV: Flying - Live the dream. No computer effects or edits are used in this illusion, and the perspex box has been previously inspected by two random audience members. The people who are seated around him on stage are the two back rows of the theatre, who David invited to join him on stage. It is worth noting that even the woman he flies with, does not know how the illusion is done!
