When you see this video of Valeria Martynyuk dancing the Diamond Fairy and Cat in Puss n' Boots from Sleeping Beauty, choreographed by Marius Petipa, to music by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, the obvious conclusion is that it is impossible to find a better suited Aurora than this Beauty, Valeria. If Valeria had been born 50 years earlier, the world would know her as one of the greatest ballerinas ever. Her tiny size is comparable to Natalia Dudinskaya, who is considered one of the three greatest students of Agrippina Vaganova , along with the greatest student, Galina Ulanova , and the third being Irina Kolpakova , although many will dispute the omission of others in this short list. Anyway, the tiny Valeria is approximately the same height as Dudinskaya and with the exception of Dudinskaya's amazing speed, power and turns, Valeria is a much better representative of the Vaganova style than Dudinskaya, with her great arms and lovely Vaganova style.
