| There's a good deal of old history up around Mt Hood. Although I didn't find a ton, I know I'll be back. This was my first time up here and it won't be the last. Very nice area to camp, hike, etc. Very nice!! It's up and far enough away from towns that you'll want to make sure you bring everything you'll need with you. There's 144 turns on the road up! Although I didn't make it to an old logging cabin, I will return. It's going to be a long, long hike to it, unless I can find a short cut across the river/creek. I came up here with my family and we stayed only 1 night. But the next time we come, I'm sure we'll stay longer. Which means!!!?!!??? More time for hunting old coins ;) "Secluded in the Mt.
