| Hello again! I'm back with another track from the upcoming Griffin Village EP, "Seasons". That should be finished (hopefully) by the end of this year! With this song, I wanted to take a step away from the happy-go-lucky poppiness of "Summer" into something a little more somber. You do your best to comfort her, it's hard to stay mad at someone in this kind of state. This song was heavily heavily inspired by "Dead Hearts" by Stars. As well as bands like Coldplay, Owl City, etc. etc. Lyrics: I once saw you running from them what did they do to you They turned you into a fool, but you are nobody's fool They took something special from you, something you would not release Shed your tears and let them freeze, shed your tears and let them freeze. They don't know you like I know you all those ponies are the same I swear I won't go away, I swear I won't go away There's a girl that I know Feathers as white as our winter's blanket of snow But I know But I know Her ... |
