| The ceremonial presentation of the advertising video clip "Switch on Ukraine" which will be broadcast by all major European TV channels within the framework of Ukraine's promotional campaign for EURO 2012 took place earlier today, 4 November. The new clip was presented by Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Borys Kolesnikov at the Information centre "Ukraine-2012". The TV advertising clip "Switch on Ukraine" was created in order to form a positive image for our country for EURO 2012. The clip has been created by the Shootgroup production studio (Ukrainian director Yulian Ulybin and German cameraman Torsten Lipstock). According to Borys Kolesnikov, the clip is primarily aimed at familiarizing Europeans with the ethnic flavor of the Ukrainian people, the country's spirit of freedom and hospitality. "Until recently, Ukraine used to be 'terra incognita' for the majority of European citizens. With this promo clip and its slogan 'Switch on', which was not chosen by accident, we are going to 'switch on' Ukraine for the world: to enable foreigners to get to know it better and to ignite it in their hearts," Mr Kolesnikov said. Promo clip director Yulian Ulybin said that its story is based on the arrival of foreigners in Ukraine; they saw our country with their own eyes and opened it for themselves: a new, undiscovered, but modern country.
