Two Blue Jaguar XKR-S - Loud Acceleration & Idle Sound

I have filmed two identical 2011 Jaguar XKR-S', at the 2011 Cholmondeley Pageant of Power back in July. The XKR-S is Jaguar's fastest road going production car ever, and, if unlimited, could theoretically trounce the XJ220 in top speed. Video shows a quick walkaround and driving of the first one, followed by some great Idle sounds from the second and finally an Acceleration. Enjoy!! Jaguar XKR-S Runway Speed Test at 186 mph

Welcome to El Centro Naval Air Base, 1.5 hours outside of San Diego where Tom Cruise's Top Gun was filmed. Jaguar chose the world-famous location because of its two runways that allow for extended speed evaluations. The east/west runway is 9500 feet long and handles 96% of the traffic, which would be either red, white or blue XKR-S Coupes and Convertibles on this day. The goal was to see who could reach or breach the car's 186 mph top speed!
