My 3D Studio Max demo reel

clarification: I have used 'demo reel' in the sense that these are some things i made back in high school and this is a reel that demonstrates them to you. I am not enrolled in any sort of graphics school, nor have i ever taken a class in 3dstudio max or any other 3d graphics program. i do however, occasionally play around with the software and enjoy discovering different things it can do. i hope that you like it. and appreciate *constructive* criticism.

(make sure to check out my site. www.kpbdesigns.com )this Video is a Demo Reel I entered in a Awards event for students graduating from highschool my primary software i use is 3D studio max and for creating textures i use photoshop cs. some of the cars i have created and there progress are Lotus elise(done), Nissan skyline(50%), Nissan 350Z(75%), Hotrod(done but still make minor changes), Ferrari 355(25%), Many other cars that are just bodies, Various car parts(rims,tires,bodykits,spoilers,performance accessories)

3ds Max Demos Mental Imaging & iRay Support at Nvidia's GPU 2010

www.netbooknews.com Nvidia GPU conference last month had a few cool demos at the keynote. We were able to grab a few demos from Nvidia that we didn't film during the GPU conference. In this demo you'll see 3Ds Max will show off the difference between Mental Ray & iRay which is the worlds first physically correct photorealistic rendering software.

MassFX Demo in 3DS Max 2012

This is just a quick demonstration of some MassFX Rigid Body Physics rendered in mental ray in 3DS Max Design 2012. Very quick to set up the scene, and different camera angles, but it took about 7 days to render due to the refractions, reflections, and ray traced shadows. Rendered on a single 2.9GHz Quad Core Xeon with 8GB RAM. Mini-Tutorial: www.designbentley.com
