1957 Ferrari TRC at Monterey Motorsports PreReunion races (8/14/11)

--- see also BETTER VIDEO of ReUnion races under "Monterey Motorsports Reunion composite 2011 Ferrari 625TRC".---- *3 liter V12 1957 Ferrari 625TRC in mid-50's sports racing group at vintage race at Rolex Monterely PreReUnion race. Distances are much less than they appear due to fish eye GoPro cam. Better video to come next weekend at the full Motorsports Reunion race. This car (0680MDTR) has been accepted and run at the Monterey Historics every year since it was fully restored to late 1958 specs in 1982 with Testa Rossa V12 3 liter engine as installed by von Neumann (and rebuilt by David McCarthy and Patrick Ottis). Most cars in the class it is racing against have engines at least 0.8L larger, and disc brakes.

Paintball FPS Mahlwinkel 20-09-2009, testing my Tac-ones

After damaging my high-pressure reg and my knee on Sunday afternoon, the Big game in Mahlwinkel was effectively over for me. I decided to use the time left while my buddies were still playing to test my Tac one markers. One was leaking, which I tried to solve. Neither had ever been used with a low(er) pressure reg, so I was curious if they still had an RT effect at only 850psi, and I also wanted to see how many q-pods I could shoot with a 200 bar 0.8L bottle (45ci, 4500psi). Not a lot, it turns out... Only around 400 balls. :-) Also, I made the mistake of using a spacer that was too tight, which caused the Tac-one bolt to stick every couple of shots. Unfortunately the only one of the right size was already in my main Tac-one marker. I ordered a new set of spacers from AGD...
