The World's First Digital Foosball Table

The Digital Foosball Table is based on the latest technologies for extremly fast performance. It consists of two WebApps for mobile and desktop clients and a digitally augmented foosball table. The table itself has a built in Arduino microcontroller that notifies a NodeJS server via HTTP over WiFi when a goal is scored. This data is then stored in a CouchDB. The mobile App -- which makes an extensive use of HTML5, CSS3 and Java-Script to run as a fast single-page WebApp -- listens via WebSockets to the NodeJS server so its scoreboard is updated instantaneously in realtime. The League App for game statistics is implemented as a CouchApp; a fast HTML5 & CSS3 single-page Website as well. Both Apps are powered by Amazon's EC2 and Cloudfront WebServices.

At Derryfield Park in Manchester NH. Despite the score, the Wildcats held Cobras 3 times to short and goal and got control of the ball. Wildcats had some great runs and outstanding defense. They are excellent players and great sportsmen.
