Filmed at Woodthorpe Bridge and Kinchley Lane locations. Featured locomotives included Class 37's No's 37198 and 37275, Class 45 'Peak' No. D123 'Leicestershire and Derbyshire Yeomanry', Class 27 No. D5401, Class 10 No. 10119 'Margaret Ethel-Thomas Alfred Naylor' and Class 03 No. D2158 'Margaret-Ann'. In order of appearance, No. 37275 is seen with the first passenger working of the day, heading down the Woodthorpe straight towards Leicester North. Next we see a top 'n tail working with No. 10119 'Margaret Ethel-Thomas Alfred Naylor' leading and No. D2158 'Margaret-Ann', complete with suitable headboard 'Gronks on Tour', we then see No. 10119 and No. D2158 return from Quorn & Woodhouse to Loughborough as No. D5401 passes with a service for Leicester North, No. 37275 then passes on the return to Loughborough Station; No. 37198 is seen heading towards Leicester North with a passenger service and No. D5401 is seen returning to Loughborough Station. Next, we move to Kinchley Lane curve and first up to be seen is 'Peak' No. D123 'Leicestershire and Derbyshire Yeomanry' heading towards Leicester North shortly followed by No. 37198 in the opposite direction, a double header is next seen in the form of No. 37198 (leading) and No. 37275 seen thrashing towards Leicester North, before we finally see 'Peak' No. D123 'Leicestershire and ... |
