| Message from seller; My house was built in 1957. When I bought it in 1998, I became only the second owner. I've enjoyed the location; a corner lot, great neighbors, and quick and easy access to major roads. The large, fenced back yard with a covered patio has been great for hosting friends and for young kids to play. Each spring, the lilac bushes, roses, yarrow and day lilies bring a great array of colors and smells. When the honeysuckle bush on the West side of the house is in bloom, the wonderful scent comes directly into the house through the dining room window. The siding and windows (installed in 2003) make for low maintenance on the exterior. If you are familiar with the storms and ice that can hit this part of the Midwest, then you'll appreciate the buried power lines (done in 2010). The roof (replaced in 2008), windows, programmable thermostat, ceiling fans and extra insulation (added in 2008) make heating and cooling efficient. The large crawl space, which is accessed from the garage, is complete with lighting and carpet and is a wonderful storage place. All of the rooms in the house have been painted in the last 6 years. The flooring in both bathrooms was replaced this past February, as was the sink in the master bath. All of the appliances work well. The dryer is new and has been used less than a dozen times. The house was a single occupant. The carpeting (installed in 2007) has little wear. One of the bedrooms was used as an office and the other as an exercise ... |
