ULTIMATE REVO PROJECT - NEW PARTS - 17MM HEX INSTALLATION - HD

A long awaited installation video for me. These products just seemed to take forever in the post. In this video i show you a couple of new things and how to install splined 17mm hex's onto my Ultimate Revo Project driveline. I purchased the set of four from ebay for around £15 which is pretty pricey but well worth it, as now i can run much better wheels + i now have aluminum hex's as before they were plastic. thanks for watching, comment + subscribe

Hpi Blitz with 2200kv Mamba Monster on 6s lipo battery power run in series.

Yes its a beast. And yes, it is way too much to go race on the local track. But you might as well go big or go home, right? lol Current Mods: -Castle Creations Mamba Monster 2200kv taken from E-revo. -Robinson Racing E-revo 60 tooth spur gear with Blitz back plate -Robinson Racing 18 tooth pinion gear (yeah, had to change the gearing to 32 pitch from 48 pitch) -Futaba 2.4 Ghz radio -Roll cage from vgracing.com -17mm wheel adapters from Hot Racing -Turnigy 5000mah, 40-50c, 3s lipos from hobbyking.com -Hpi racing SF-20w servo -Front springs from revo 3.3, rear springs from t-maxx -All four bottom spring retainers come from a savage xl. -100 weight all around -Rpm arms on all four corners (a must have) -Lengthened the wires from the motor. Future mods: -Aluminum shocks -Road tires that don't blow up at speed -T-bone racing front and rear bumpers.

Tmaxx 3.3, 4908 my overview and mods

this is my first nitro truck, bought it in november 08. here is my list of mods as accurate as i can remember. bought most everything on internet (alot of it from ebay)..spent half as much as i would have from local hobby shop (even though i would like to support my local stores, it just cost too much to).. MODS: PROLINE 72' chevy pickup ext. bed pickup body. rubber body clip holders (must have) @4.00$ RPM A-arms (blue) RPM bulkhead braces (blue) INTEGY bulkheads, front and rear. $19.99 each on ebay *cheap* Aluminum bumper and skid plate set (front and rear) on ebay Aluminum chassis braces and center skid plate. www.neweraracing.com (these were expensive, but one of only places that makes them for 4908 truck) Aluminum steering assembly (with ball bearings) www.neweraracing.com. also expensive, but smoother than stock set-up. MOTOR SAVER air filter kit. *more grunt*. INTEGY 56 tooth spur gear (stock IS 58t not 55t as said in book). DYNAMITE RACING exhaust deflector (blue). AXIAL beadlock wheels, black chrome, 40 series. PROLINE Big Joe tires with foams. 17mm adapters,extended 3mm each. *bought on ebay* thats all for now..plans include better shocks, picco .26 motor, and drive line set-up. enjoy, please leave comments. thanks, christopher
