This video was made to show that you can achieve anything your heart desires if you believe in yourself & work hard to do everything in your power to get to where you want to go. This is a story about a young man's journey to become a famous musician & his belief in himself to achieve his ultimate dream. Zachary Phyce (play on the word "Sacrifice", as he has made many of these to try to succeed) is a 27 year old Maori/Pacific Island single male. He is the eldest of 5 children & lives at home with his mother & siblings, as a struggling musician. He works odd jobs when he can, but in his spare time, he writes & composes his own songs, desperately trying to be signed to an established recording label. He has always had high hopes of being rich & famous, through his music & to get his family out of the financial debt they have endured since his father's passing 8 years ago. With hard work & determination, he finally manages to reach his destiny... the world stage. This clip was my individual project for my Diploma of Animation & Digital Video paper at Natcoll@Yoobee Design Technology. It was shot in Ellerslie, Glen Innes, Auckland CBD & One Tree Hill and edited using Final Cut Pro & Adobe After Effects.
