Euro NCAP intends to release further languages Catalan, German, Italian, Polish, Spanish and the Swedish in the following months. Euro NCAP also releases the results for three new cars: the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, BMW 5-series and the Mazda CX-7. Of these three cars, the BMW 5 series achieved the highest result in pedestrian protection with a respectable 78%. The car has an active bonnet, so that when a pedestrian is struck, the bonnet is lifted from its position as a result, creating more space to absorb the energy that usually results in injury. The BMW 5 series also scored 100% in Safety Assist as the car has electronic stability control fitted as standard, seatbelt reminders in the front and rear, as well as a driver set speed limitation device. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta is equipped with a reactive seat and head restraint offering good protection.

Mazda isn't really comfortable with the C-word. Oh sure, the company refers to the all-new 2007 Mazda CX-7 as a "crossover" all the time in public. But it doesn't really think the term is entirely appropriate. Crossing between what and what else, one might ask? Instead it boldly proclaims that the CX-7 is an SUV with the "soul of a sports car." Smoking 2009 Mazda CX-7 Turbocharged 2.3L (Failing Turbo) - 30K

2009 Mazda CX-7 This has the Turbocharged 2.3L 4 Cyl which is the same engine off the Mazdaspeed3 Hatch. This one at 30K already having issues with the turbo where oil already seeps through. This is something the typically happens around the 200K mark but at 30K, this is just ridiculous. Heard from many other dealers that this is a very common problem with these. Warranty still covers the repairs tho
