First video: Luxury Costa Concordia cruise ship runs aground

A cruise ship with over 4-thousand people on board has grounded off Italy's north-west coast. At least 3 bodies have been recovered, with more than a dozen others still missing. Most of those on board the Costa Concordia were evacuated from the vessel after it hit a reef near the Island of Giglio, late on Friday. Police underwater video inside stricken Costa Concordia

Italian officials say divers have pulled out a woman's body from the capsized Costa Concordia, raising to 13 the number of dead in the Jan. 13 accident off the Tuscan island of Giglio. Italian police released underwater video footage of their efforts to find bodies on the stricken Costa Concordia vessel. Costa Concordia 2012 - The First Pictures Inside The Ship

Friday January 13rd : The Costa Concordia carrying more than 3200 passengers and 1000 crew, hit a rock and sank in the shallow waters off the Italian island of Giglio. Concordia had just started the first leg of a seven-day cruise out of Rome's port of Civitavecchia. According to Costa officials, most of the passengers were evacuated, but at least three people were killed and dozens more injured.

Sonia Gallego reports on the Costa Concordia accident

News reports say 69 people are still unaccounted for after the the luxury cruise ship Costa Concordia ran aground off the coast of Tuscany. Three bodies had been recovered from the sea by Saturday morning. The ANSA news agency said, quoting the prefect's office in Grosseto, that authorities have accounted for 4165 of the 4234 people who had boarded the liner. Al Jazeera's Sonia Gallego reports from Italy on a boat near the scene of the accident.
