Visiting the Statue of Christ the Redeemer

I visited the statue of Christ the Redeemer, located on the top of Corcovado mountain in Rio de Janeiro, in Novemeber, 2010. This video was shot during my trip. Recently voted as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, this statue is the symbol of Rio de Janeiro and is a must see thing for people visiting Rio. Though it was a cloudy day when I visited the statue, both the statue and the view from the top of Corcovado mountain was breathtaking. I hope you will enjoy the video.

Photographing Brazil's 'Christ the Redeemer'

October 12 marks the 80th birthday of one of the most famous statues in the world: Cristo Redentor, in Brazil's Rio de Janeiro. The statue, translated as 'Christ the Redeemer' in English, has been photographed millions of times, but there is one picture that stands out from the rest.
