Air Rifle Pigeon Hunting Slow-Motion (Nov 4, 2010)

For more hunting videos like this one visit www.youtube.com The Camera Mount I used to record through the scope can be found here: www.amazon.com The slow-motion camera I use to film the shots through the scope is the Casio EX-FC150. That camera is no longer made, but you can buy its successor (which is actually a better camera than the one I use) here: www.amazon.com The Exact same Hawke Scope that I use in this video (Sidewinder TAC 30 6.5-20x) can be found here: www.amazon.com They say "you are what you eat". Well, the same applies to these birds. A lot of my city friends would wrinkle their noses when I mentioned that I sometimes eat feral pigeons. But, that is because they only have the image of their city pigeons, rooting around at the base of dumpsters and garbage cans. These country pigeons grew up eating corn and grain. So, they actually taste pretty good. And if you are lucky enough to get your hands on few young ones, they are downright delicious. I shoot these birds regularly. In part to keep their numbers from swelling out of control, and also to feed my pets and (on occasion) myself. If you bag 10-12 of them, they make for a nice pie. I'll be the first to admit that this earlier video wasn't a display of my best shooting - the gun was new to me, and I had not yet learned to use it to its full potential. Had I known the video would garner the attention it has, I probably would have used more discretion. But, at least I was fully honest. I could have omitted ...

Full auto battery shooting air gun 600 rounds per minute

In this video i demonstrate that my air gun is able to shoot 600 rounds per minute. The batteries come out at around 200 feet per second. The rod sticking out of the mag is a guide rod for the follower & it holds the expansion spring. I wanted the mag to hold as much as i can so i made the spring external. When the gun is fired, the bolt blows forward and clears a plug allowing air to flow though it in to the barrel. Cost to build the bolt & barrel (excluding tools): $10 and i still have enough pipe to make 3 more. Estimated cost to build the rest of the gun: $30 (would be cheaper if i used all PVC) Estimated cost to build the magazine: $10 + scrap sheets of 80 mil high-density polyethylene geomembrane The PVC i am using is rated at more than 2x the pressures i am using it for. I do have a smaller full metal tank that i will be testing with shortly - a smaller tank will increase the ROF but will decrease its power. Here is a diagram: ukilliheal.deviantart.com

Shooting Pigeons in Flight with Air Rifle Semi Automatic FX Revolution .22

www.facebook.com My official review for this air rifle can be found here: Part 1: www.youtube.com Part 2: www.youtube.com Ahhh, the pure enjoyment of a semi-automatic airgun. In this video I attempt to shoot pigeons out of the sky. When you view the video, it seems like it shouldn't be too difficult to pluck them out of mid air, but this is not Nintendo Duck Hunt. The birds are moving very fast, requiring a substantial lead with the shot. They also change direction rapidly. And no matter how "thick" a flock of pigeons looks, there is MUCH more open space than "pigeon space". I realize that many may attempt to use this video to demonize me - calling me a hypocrite for not adhering to the "one shot, one kill" philosophy. I knew that making might haunt me a bit. But, with a semi-auto, I could unload on any animals not killed immediately. This is something I can not do with my single shot. And this is also something that every bird hunter on earth must deal with. I've shot countless ducks and pheasants with a perfectly-placed shotgun blast - yet it still required a 2nd shot to finish them off. It's just the way it is. Anyone who says otherwise is blowing smoke. Had I winged a bird, it would not have suffered long at all considering the rapid-fire accuracy of this gun. And I made certain to not fire on any that were flying over the corn field, so as not to lose them. I'm always torn between making long explanations [like this one] of my actions, or just getting to the footage ...

Bird Watching Airgun Style - Episode 1 [Hunting]

Pardon my tongue-in-cheek commentary. I needed to cut loose a bit after all the "serious" gun reviews I had been doing for my other channel (AirgunReview). I'm a satirist by nature, and it is usually a bit of a chore for me to quell my zest for controversy. This video helped me "recharge my batteries". And hell, maybe you even liked it. Worse yet, maybe it was educational. ;) Birds seen in this video: Chipping Sparrow Barn Swallow Northern Flicker Common Grackle Birds shot in this video: European Starling(s) Equipment: The Camera Mount I used to record through the scope can be found here: www.amazon.com The slow-motion camera I use to film the shots through the scope is the Casio EX-FC150. 101 Air Rifles - FX, Daystate, RWS, Weihrauch

I only got to showing you 47 of them. But, I assure you that I saw well over 100 on my recent visit to Airguns of Arizona. Not much rhyme or reason as to which guns were shown and which were not. AirArms, BSA, Theoben, Air Force, Crosman, Gamo, Hammerli, ect were all conspicuously absent....

Homemade Full Metal Air Gun

This is a weekend project of mine. Its a piston valve barrel sealer with a 1/2" ball valve pilot. The parts are made out of brass an steel. The pressure chamber is an emptied fire extinguisher rated to 18,5 bar ~ 270 psi. The piston is made out of hot glue. NO BACKGROUND MUSIC: sorry had to remove due to copyright infringement. And sorry again for the poor sound. It's the bad microphone in my camera. If someone cares: I filmed this with a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ 28.

Webley Alecto - Zoraki HP-01 Multi-Stoke Air Gun Review

www.ReplicaAirguns.com - Webley Alecto - Zoraki HP-01 Multi-Stoke Air Gun Review. -Webley Alecto Target Pistol -.177 or .22 caliber -Single shot -Multi-Stoke Pneumatic -495 fps -Purchased from www.ReplicaAirguns.com This video is a Tabletop review of the Webley Alecto .22 caliber target pistol. I show how it resembles the Desert Eagle just a bit, and take you through the operations and features of this amazingly accurate air pistol. I also talk about how to modify the pressure release valve to get the full fps out of this powerful pellet gun. (Check the link to my website for more information on how to modify this gun) I wasn't sure if I was going to keep this air pistol as I tend to like true replica action shooters but this well balanced air pistol is a definite keeper and great addition to my collection!
