David Archuleta says goodbye to the music industry -- in a new video blog out from the American Idol runner-up, he tells fans that he'll see them in two years. During some downtime at home, David made what will be his last video for his fans, where he really opened up, letting viewers know that the last week has been QUOTE "very emotional" for him, as he says farewell to his family, friends and neighbors. A few months back, we brought you news that David made the decision to serve as a missionary for two years for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The famous singer is dedicated to keeping most of the details of his mission private, although he eventually said he's going to South America and he added that he's excited to learn more about Latin culture. David also told the fans that he's going to miss sharing what he calls the "weird, random things that [he's] doing or thinking about." He gave credit to the fans saying he wouldn't be where he's at without them. Twitter followers of David, stick with him, because he said that his road manager will be keeping his twitter updated with news and info on him. Overall, the video was very special and emotional, and David, or as many fans call him Archie, closed out saying QUOTE: "I will see you in two years. God Bless."
