President Bashar Al-Assad among his people Joining a Youth's Initiative - Complete

Damascus 16.04.2012 - "Al-Faehaa" public hall President Bashar Al-Assad joined the volunteers in the initiative called "People of Sham are the ones who answer the appeals". The initiative is aimed at sending food and other supplies to the areas that suffered under the terrorist acts of the Syrian opposition. A little comparison: Just a few days ago Burhan Galion and the other traitors in the so-called "Syrian National Council" were busy taking photos with the Zionists McCain and Lieberman, and begging like whores for a military intervention in Syria.

'US backed off Libya-style regime change in Syria'

The Syrian regime has come under fire from a new UN report claiming both the government and opposition are committing gross human rights violations. It claims Damascus is responsible for the largest share of the violence, while rebels are accused of kidnapping civilians and torturing captured soldiers. Meanwhile, Amnesty International has slammed the UN Security Council as 'increasingly unfit for purpose' and too slow to act on Syria. The world body dispatched an observer mission to the country, where it's estimated around ten thousand people have been killed since March last year. Author William Engdahl says however that Syria must be left alone to determine its own future. President Bashar Al-Assad among his people in the Umayyad square

Wednesday 11.January.2012: Tens of thousands of Syrians went to the public squares in several provinces to stress their support to president Bashar Al-Assad and his reforms program. One of these public squares is the famous Umayyad square in Damascus where huge crowds gathered and chanted slogans to stress the national unity and sovereignty. One of these slogans was a sentence that the president said yesterday in his speech: "It is impossible to humiliate or defeat the Syrian people"... The surprise was that the president appeared among his people. He walked from the public library in the neighborhood to the square accompanied by his wife and children and spoke to his citizens. This move was so surprising because we all know the risks for the president to appear in public like that, but it gives a strong impression: Syria is determined to defeat terrorism and Syrian will continue with its regional and foreign policy. Syria will never give up the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon... In a spontaneous word to the tens of thousands who gathered since the early hours of the morning, President Al-Assad underscored that Syria is also to steadily go forward in fighting terrorism. A similar huge gathering took place in Al-Jabery square in Aleppo... See the rest here: www.sana.sy
