Volkswagen Think Blue - Live Brand Experience Case Study

Think Blue has been developed by Volkswagen as their organisation-wide sustainability drive to create environmentally friendly cars, whilst encouraging better environmental behaviour. Having begun to roll Think Blue out in some European markets, PLAY was briefed to develop Think Blue's launch into Australia. Using the insight that if you really want to change people's behavioural patterns, you need to give them something fun to do, our approach was to bring Think Blue to life in a relaxed and friendly environment that would ultimately get the audience thinking blue. The launch of Think Blue Australia came to life with a pedal powered photo booth. Passers by were offered the opportunity to have a free session inside the booth, but there was a catch! In order to take a photo, they first needed to generate the necessary power by pedaling on a bicycle. This Think Blue experience is now set to be rolled out across Europe.

David Polinchock: Brand Experience, Augmented Reality and Twitter

Interview with David Polinchock, Founder & Chief Experience Officer of Brand Experience Lab, after his presentation on MarketingLive in Utrecht, the Netherlands. In 1991, David Polinchock used virtual reality to create Experiential Advertising™ programs for clients ranging from Avis to Cutty Sark. He was a featured speaker on the topic of creating experiences that allowed the consumer to enter and interact with a marketing message at conferences both in the US and abroad. Previously, David was the CEO of Location Based Branding, specializing in oneline brand experiences that allowed the guests to enter and interact with brand stories. Projects included the creation of a Synthetic Interview for the Court TV Mall Tour and consultation with the Entertainment Technology Center (ETC) at CMU, to commercialize ETC's proprietary experience-based technologies. He also served as the VP of Interactive Ideation for the DVC Group. As a key part of their Strategic Services team, David evaluated, recommended, and created interactive strategies in order to optimize investment of marketing and promotion initiatives. Carlsberg Case Study

Carlsberg is the world's 4th largest brewery company, selling beer in more than 150 markets across the globe. To support their current growth strategy of developing new markets across Europe and Asia, Carlsberg has unified its global proposition. Working with the Brand Activation team in Denmark and in line with the repositioning campaign, Uniform was commissioned to develop a unique brand experience. Our approach centred on bringing together the iconic brand and its longstanding relationship with football, creating an experience that was unique and engaging. Carlsberg 360° was launched in the UK's busiest shopping destination, Liverpool One, and featured a custom built seven-metre dome with a panoramic, live action and CGI film featuring the UK's leading football freestyler, Daniel Cutting. Visiting shoppers were immersed in the brand inside the 360° environment, whilst they enjoyed a taste of Carlsberg.
