Alex Jones: "Giant Anarchists on steroids" were police agents

The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi along with his son and intelligence chief. Radio host Alex Jones calls it another example of a globalist New World Order hypocrisy, just like the new reports revealing that anarchists fighting police at the G-20 summit in Toronto, Canada were infiltrated by agents provocateurs. Chossudovsky: Libya no-fly zone means war

The UN Security Council adopted a resolution establishing a no-fly zone over Libya. Michel Chossudovsky, director of Centre for Research on Globalization, says western nations are interested in Libyan oil and other resources, not protecting the people and that is why they care more about the fight in Libya, than elsewhere in the Arab world.

CIA asset: 'Libyan opposition is al-Qaeda'

With bin Laden's elimination, the US announced a withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan. Now President Obama has revealed a new national strategy for counterterrorism. The focus is al-Qaeda and it's affiliates, as well as Iran, Syria, Hezbollah and Hamas on the list of enemies. Susan Lindauer, former CIA asset who covered Libya for nearly 10 years, is speaking to RT on what that exactly means. Follow Lauren on Twitter: twitter.com

French warplanes over Libya

French military jets have fired the first foreign shots in Libya, targeting military vehicles as enforcement began of the UN-imposed no-fly zone. A French plane fired the first shot in Libya at 16:45 GMT. A vehicle that was providing assistance to the Libyan military was the target. According to the latest unconfirmed reports, another three vehicles have been attacked. Planes are flying over the rebel-held city of Benghazi, in Libya's northeast. Clashes in the city continued Saturday, despite calls for an immediate cease-fire. The rebels claim that they have been fired on from three different directions. Among the victims of today's violence in Benghazi are allegedly numerous civilians.

Obama sued for violating War Powers Act

Anthony Weiner's resignation following the sexting scandal is number one news with all of the mainstream media today. But believe it or not, Weiner stepping down is not the most important news you need to know. As US military intervention in Libya continues, the government is now battling over it. Ten members of Parliament are now suing the President in an attempt to end the US military involvement in Libya for failing to get congressional approval. The White House though claims it is not in violation of the law because it's not actually a war, and the US military plays only a "support role" there. David Swanson, the author of the "War Is A Lie," talks to RT. Follow Lauren on Twitter: twitter.com
