It's a comic juxtaposition, a volte face, he sets up the premise of prejudice, indulges in it, riffs and applies surreal imagery to his ludicrous posit with whiffs of reality mixed with stereotype. He plays on the stereotypes, daubs them with his own turn of phrase and pushes them out the other side as uncomfortable but entertaining similes. Simple really.
