| Escudo, bred by Mr. Allmer Knoop, Loxstedt, is serving at Celle State Stud. Already at 1993 licensing his outstanding talent for jumping became obvious. He kept in good shape and won his stallions performance test with top indices in jumping. By now he has produced 42 foals for Verden elite auction as well as 23 states premium mares or candidates (SPS/SPA) out of 52 registered broodmares and several candidates for Verden elite riding horse auction. According to hanoverian stallion yearbook by Dr. Ludwig Christmann Escudo is currently ranking 5th out of all Hanoverian approved sires for passing typiness and riding horse points in his offspring. Also he is put rank 16 for improving his progeny's jumping technique and ability. These rankings are based on data taken from mares inspections and mare performance tests and is therefor 'up to date' and faster than the FN ranking based on the progeny's success in competitions.
