I'm Tatiana Carrier, thanks for tuning in to Clevver Movies. Well, as we reported last week, Matthew Broderick is reprising his role as Ferris Bueller in a new Super Bowl ad. Well, almost. The full ad has been released on Youtube, but rather than actually using the Bueller name, it is updated to a middle-aged Matthew Broderick as the star himself. Luckily for us movie-buffs the ad barely addresses the car itself, but instead is a fun romp through all the best moments from the classic John Hughes film. The ad winks at those viewers who grew up with Ferris by trading the classic hot rod car for a new Honda CR-V to use as an adventure-mobile. Now I know that some of you will be skeptical about such a classic film being used for advertising, but in the hands of The Hangover's Todd Phillips, the ad is actually pretty funny, and it just might be a hint at what the rumored Ferris Bueller sequel would be like.
