Terror Trestle - G-scale model train

LGB Forney pushes video camera on a flat car over a 70' long x 8' high cedar trestle about October 2000. 5 Months construction with 5 weeks off to prove to wife and son I could do something other than make Cedar sawdust out of 2"x6"x12' lumber.

G scale snowplow part 4

For this video I mounted the camera to the engine itself to get a bird's eye view of the plow working. I did this as a result of requests from those who viewed my other videos. There was ice on the rails this time and I only used 3 engines as opposed to my usual 4. As a result, the train got stuck several times which required backing up and taking a run. I edited these out becuase they caused the video to be about 8 minutes long. Also, the ice on the rail also set the grade crossing whistle on my Sierra sound system constantly, so you may want to turn the volume down as it gets pretty annoying. I'll reshoot this video the next good snow we get!

G scale snow plow part 1

In this video, plow train #5319 clears the mainline to allow the westbound California Zephyr to make it through. This is part 1 of 3. This video was taken 11 months after the first one I posted. Now, the mainline of my railroad is complete and this train clears the whole outdoor section of the line. The horrible screeching noise you will hear for about 5 seconds is a low hanging plastic footstep on one of the engines rubbing on the track. In this video, plow train #5319 clears the mainline to allow the westbound California Zephyr to make it through. This is part 1 of 3.
