Half-Life in Half an Hour

This speed run wasn't done by me. I just uploaded it for the person who did do it. Author's comments: "This is my segmented Half-Life speedrun, done by me, Blake "Spider-Waffle" Piepho. I had the idea for this in year 2000, started working on it in 2003, and completed it in October 2006. This run was done through many small segments in aim of achieving a high level of perfection. The final time from start to the death blow on Nihilanth is 29:41. Director's Note: After 10+ years since it's release, if you ever go back and replay the original Half-Life, it doesn't look anything like you remember. The graphics are horrible compared to present day games, but years ago it blew my mind. This video plays with that contrast. The Vortigaunts fled to Xen, a border world that can be used to cross dimensions, and resided there until the events of Black Mesa. On Earth, Black Mesa is experimenting with teleportation technology with crystals retrieved from Xen. Their competitor, Aperture Science, is also developing portal technology aboard various facilities including the Borealis, a research vessel that mysteriously vanishes probably due to portal experimentation. Years later, Gman submits specific test samples to Black Mesa to be used for experimentation and triggers The Resonance Cascade, a cataclysmic quantum event that creates an inter-dimensional rift between Earth and Xen. The Vortigaunts, viewing the rift as an escape from the Combine, pass through to Earth along with other alien species. The Gman takes interest in Gordon Freeman as he demonstrates proficiency in dealing with and dispatching Xen beings and US troops alike. Black Mesa is eventually destroyed by nuclear detonation to quell the incident and Gman gives Freeman an ultimatum: work ...

A parody that will keep you laughing until Half-Life: Episode 3 or Black Mesa Source comes out. Portal to Black Mesa is a live-action parody/fan film inspired by the Half-Life & Portal Video Game episodes. This is an action packed short film that centers around Gordon Freeman who has been sent back by G-Man to just after the Resonance Cascade incident at Black Mesa to perform one final mission.
