| Hangzhou is around 160 kilometres south of China's commercial capital, Shanghai, and has a population of over seven million. It's the capital and political, economic and cultural centre of Zhejiang province. Its excellent logistical facilities, open government and low costs have promoted strong economic growth over the last 15 years: it has the third largest economy in the Yangtze River Delta area. An ancient and attractive city, Hangzhou not only has an excellent business environment but also a good quality of life. For the fourth time, it has been named the 'Happiest City' in China by a national magazine. This video is part of a series on China's regional cities.
