| osx 10.6.2 running on Hp envy 14 (im probably th only one to have it on my hp 14 envy as nobody on the INTERNET has posted good results) BEFORE EVEN STARTING THIS GUIDE: im not responsible for data loss, if you get sued(just don't don't to an apple store and make yourself a smart ass that's it also if this fuck up your computer it's not my fault you did it if you still want to install OSX it's your responsability if something happens) * Here my specs(hp 14 envy beats edition, core i5-580M, THIS GUIDE IS FOR INTEL ONLY) * Install Method: Snow_Leopard_10.6.2_SSE2_SSE3_Intel_AMD_by_Hazard (in order to boot put cpus=1 busratio=20) * VERY IMPORTANT when i installed osx my hole hard disk was prationated as GPT so make sure your is too) as always backup your data * ONLY INSTALL this * 10.6.2 update combo * Kernel: Legacy_Kernel_10.2.0 (others didin't worked for me) * Graphic_Drivers: NONE (i think that GPT was giving me a kernel panic) * Audio: voodooHDA and AppleHDA (Not sure wich one got the audio working i think it's AppleHDA) * Network: I put BCM5787 (ethernet works) * Laptop_Support: INSTALL VOODOOPS2 (or you will be stuck to do you wish to transfer data menu) * System_Support: -CMOS_RESET_Fix: Apple RTC -SATA_ATA_Fix: AHCI_SATA_Fix -SMBIOS Resolver -Fakesmc_v1.0 * What's working: Ethernet, bluetooth (tested with my magic mouse), sound (but no sound control), USB work was able to copy data * What's not working: wireless, stuck wih 1028x768 por resolution, didn't tested SD ... |
