Note: the recent change in format of channels on YouTube has resulted in the loss of a significant amount of information; among the info lost is the fact that Derek has specifically authorized me to host these videos. Derek is no longer on YouTube. I cannot tell you how to contact him, please do not keep asking or I'll just lock the video down for comments. Derek knows this video is posted and has given his permission. I am fairly sure he watches YouTube but doesn't post. He is now in university, and finally out of his home and away from the difficult situation with his family. Although he sounds shaky and a bit sad here, Derek soon became a very strong person and a wonderful role model for other teens (well, and older really), I'm sorry he was pressured to leave YouTube but he's doing fine. One reason for uploading: in this video Derek says one thing he doesn't want is to be forgotten. Well, we have not forgotten this guy! There are a few vids in which he appears briefly. One is Arrogant Gay Kid:Hookup Line and it has a Derek Cameo ... and hilarious! Oh and it is the only shirtless vid of Derek I know.
