Stadium opens 2012 hours ahead of Olympics

London's Olympic Stadium is formally open for business. About 40000 people attended an inauguration ceremony on Saturday, opening the stadium 2012 hours before the official start of the games in July. On hand were sports fans, Olympic planners and, of course, athletes, who got a trial run of the track. Al Jazeera's Gerald Tan reports.
