[PMV] The Massive Smile Project Music Video

The Massive Smile! Project is a version of Pinkie's Smile! Song done in the style of "We Are The World", featuring some of the best brony musicians, with solos from Cyril the Wolf, Decibelle, F3nning, Forest Rain, Glaze, Jenny Nicholson, Kryptage, The Living Tombstone, Mic the Microphone, Osoth, and Spectracle, as well as instrumental contributions from Ashfire, Equestria Dude, and Poni1Kenobi. The project was created, and the track produced by Forest Rain. The Massive Smile! Project has partnered with Bronies for Good, and will be released alongside their upcoming charity album "Seeds of Kindness". This was mostly an experiment and a request PMV I really wanted to try my hand at after effects, so I took my time. I know some parts are a little off but enjoy it for what it is. This PMV was probably my hardest undertaking but was satisfying to make. I used after effects for the first time and wanted to experiment with typography. A bulk of the work here was devoted to masking and lipsync, whilst the effects and final edits only took a span of a long weekend to finish. [PMV] Vanilla Twilight

"The brightest minds are taught by the kindest hearts, and the kindest hearts live the longest lives..." This pmv I tried to focus on 3 things. 1. Try to make a pmv where you felt like you were taken out of a angle from the show and simply a new location. (Hence the stars. Stars everywhere!) 2. Try some custom stuff to a bigger degree. (The vectors/stars) 3. Incorporate a storyline on something not touched by a lot of people/people don't usually talk about. The storyline is basically Twilight wishing to see Princess Celestia but Princess Celestia is with Twilight Sparkle Spiritually. (Btw, no shipping here, this is simply a friendship between them both.) Anyways, enjoy this PMV. Total time spent editing: 40-ish hours. Days spent editing: 6-7 Other info: Spent about a month with this idea in my head and 2 weeks brainstorming for it before I finally started editing. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, QUETZALDASH! Ahem, I mean actually my birthday's on May 4 but who cares anyway. Here's a special birthday cake to share with you all, a MEGA sized PMV. Man oh man, this took a while to do and yes I believe it's time for the obligatory apology list™: QuetzalDash's 21st attempt at "complaining" ==---------------------------------------------------------------== 1. Folks, the sloppiness, slacking and laziness is still highly evident 2. Really terrible lip sync 3. Filler here, filler there, filler everywhere 4. Not following the context of the lyrics properly 5. Low class and lame visuals 6. This could be the best/worst/craziest/stupidest/most boring/incredible/crappiest/not-so-special thing I've ever done 7. So many errors, and such glitches aplenty 8. Couldn't troubleshoot everything (The bloody program likes to crash every goddamn 2 seconds before I do anything) 9. Done under the influence of influenza and later, some cider from the party 10. *ACHOO* *blows nose* My bad 6_9 11. Nothing really noteworthy, also one of the sloppiest efforts ever plus I sped up the Overture to dodge copyright *curses, UMG* 12.
