| At 1:36 pm on September 30, 2010, a Lakewood police officer observed a stolen white 1998 Pontiac Grand Am traveling eastbound on Detroit Ave., near W. 117th St. The stolen car was driven by a 26-year-old Cleveland man with a felony warrant and a criminal record. Clifford Garrison was charged with receiving stolen property (motor vehicle) and failure to comply with the order of a police officer. His case is pending in the Cuyahoga Court of Common Pleas. Notes about the video: The audio heard in the beginning of the video comes from the in-car microphone. The radio in the patrol car was tuned to The Jim Rome Show. There was commercial break and a political ad for Jim Renacci played, followed by a beer commercial. The audio heard after the crash is condensed. It actually took longer to apprehend the suspect than it appears. |
