| FROM PURVCIEMS WITH LOVE... Built on marsh, now Purvciems ("Marsh Village") surrounds people who are proud of this neighbourhood in Riga. Ugly apartment blocks called "Khrushchovkas" which were built in Soviet time characterize the district quite well. But people living there - mainly Russian speaking - characterize it the best. With a taste of Soviet Union and with love - this is Purvciems. The film has received Riga Summer School's Certificate of Appreciation and also the Audience Award 2011.
