Original Description: Powerful version of the anthem of the Russian Federation performed by the Moscow State Chamber Choir during Closing Ceremonies of the 2010 Vancouver XXI Winter Olympiad. Conducted by Vladimir Minin. Music is the same as of the former Soviet Union, only the lyrics have been changed by the order of former President of Russia, current Chairman of the Government (and most likely future new General Secretary of the New Russian Empire In The Making or the New Tsar) - Mr. Putin. (Putin himself is a former high-ranking soviet KGB comrade) The sound is enhanced by me to sound fuller and more "glorious" than it was there. You may notice it is slightly clipping and bit distorted in the first 30sec or so, that's because of my removal of an idiot tv commentator from the audio, who had to make some "smart remarks" during the national anthem playback... but other than that it is truly one of the best a'capella Soviet/Russian anthem performance by a choir. I have only made it sound as best as possible. Enjoy :-) By the way: I am not communist, I actually detest Soviets and loathe any totalitarian systems and dictatorships. But I love music, and Soviet anthem is in my opinion the best anthem ever written so far (despite it's commie lyrics) and this ... |
