| Here's an early mix (from Cozy Powell's own collection) of Stargazer, off the Rainbow Rising album. It features an extended keyboard intro (cut from the final release) and a longer outro. This is taken from the album "Rising Rough Mix" (and is the most interesting track on it). Rising was probably my favourite album back in 1977(76?) - I even transcribed the guitar parts in tablature. Then again, I was the first person in school with a copy - having discovered the joys of import record shops by this time. Local (Australian) release came 3-5 months later. And, towards the end of that year, the band toured, and we all went to see them - rainbow-light, 1812 Overture drum-solo, guitar through the ceiling and all.
