| yes I like the Warriors titles myself, have ever sense I played a demo of Sangoku Musou for the PS1. When I got myself a PS2, one of my first titles was Dynasty Warriors 2 which obviously changed from part 1 from the fighting game it once was to the hack and slash fun it is today. Unfortunately, I haven't been buying that much into the series as of late as they have been disappointing me. I never bought the Empire titles as they didn't appeal to me, I skipped over DW5:XL because honestly, no additional weapons really got to me as much as I didn't think it would. I don't have a 360 (yet) or PS3, so DW6 was out of the question, but I don't care since KOEI seems to have gimped it. DW6: Special is complete rubbish to me. Now I do like the Samurai Warriors titles too as I have SW1, SW1:XL (love this game), and SW2. I still need to buy SW2:XL even though they did some things I don't agree with, but hopefully the good outweighs the bad by a large margin. I also bought Warriors Orochi and after a while of that, I got bored and I never bothered with part 2. enough of that, in this game (which saved the original DW4 as that was just a bore fest after a while, but I hate the damn AI) I have obtained weapons to my liking this time around. I say that because some time ago both of my memory cards got wiped clean of any game data that was on them (does anyone remember the Novemeber 2003 PS2 demo disc catastrophe?), so a lot of my games I had to start over from scratch and others I didn ... |
