Calculations for the current car shopper. Prius vs other cars in class

These are my observations sure I have left out a lot of cars I didn't consult consumer reports the cars I have listed are for the most part models I have driven YARIS is the only exception but I have the engine of the yaris in both my prius and my xB. Sure you can wing it and go out there buy a used car from a single owner or even try your hand at an auction. There are many ways to get a car and many ways to get screwed. Buying new does not insure you will get what you pay for. It is why we have lemon laws etc. Good luck going through the courts with that process IDK about you I just want a good car to do what they promise outside that I don't want to have any dealings with any professionals. I go to fuel economy.gov use their fuel cost comparator you can compare the mpg of 2 cars there are many ways you can make this your own. Better to use your real world use of a car so you can insure you are getting the right car for you. I am not recommending making a change if your driving is like mine I drive very little my 06 has 26500 miles on it I just don't drive enough to warrant buying a car period. If you are driving a hundred miles a day you are going to want to pay attention to what is in this video. Even if the government is paying you so much per mile for driving you want to pay attention some of the numbers are staggering when you get down to it.
