| Dominic Molon's appointment at CAM began on September 27, 2010. On March 10, Molon presented a lecture on his recent work at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), Chicago, his plans for the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis (CAM), his love of rock-and-roll, Manchester United, and much more. Since August of 2009, Dominic Molon served as Acting Head of the Curatorial Department at the MCA Chicago, providing invaluable leadership and managerial experience that he will now be contributing to CAM. In addition to his work at MCA, Molon regularly contributes to various art publications, makes public presentations, lectures widely across the United States, and serves on international advisory committees. During his tenure at the MCA, Molon curated major thematic survey exhibitions with a broad international and historical scope such as Production Site: The Artist's Studio Inside-Out (2010) where the exhibition addressed the pivotal role of the studio in artists' practice; and Sympathy for the Devil: Art and Rock and Roll since 1967 (2007). This monumental exhibition was the most serious and comprehensive look at the intimate and inspired relationship between the visual arts and rock-and-roll culture to date.
