Anti-Fascist Hamburg

Antifa Sankt Pauli - Best Supporters! Anti-Fascists on the march in Hamburg Love + Respect from England www.kickitout.org uk.youtube.com Some moron who supports the UK Fascist party the BNP has re-posted this video on You Tube with a description alleging that Hamburg Anti-Fascists are, err... "Fascists"! It's great to know that Nazi collaborators in the UK feel threatened by the strength of the Antifa movement in Germany; and, while BNP supporters and other Nazi collaborators are constantly trying to "revise" history (eg - pretending that the Nazi concentration camps never happened etc), the REAL history here is that the people of Hamburg included some of the most important Anti-Nazi heroes, even at the height of the Nazi regime... www.return2style.de See also... libcom.org libcom.org libcom.org newfarenet.fast2host.com www.antifa.de www.ultra-stpauli.com Carsi Berlin... uk.youtube.com uk.youtube.com .

Beating The Fascists - The Untold Story of Anti Fascist Action

Following the electoral collapse of the National Front in 1979, fascists went on the rampage. Race attacks escalated. NF/BNP gangs employed violence on the streets, on the terraces and to control the music scene. Young anti-fascists stepped up. A new hardline leadership emerged and AFA was formed in 1985. 'A state of war' was how one rueful BNP leader would describe what happened next. Not only is 'Beating the Fascists' a meticulously researched study, it is also a much-needed piece of 'history from below'. Throughout, the voices of working class anti-fascists come across hard, clear, and without apology. Illuminating and sometimes chilling by turn, the running commentary they provide helps ensure the tempo never flags. Gradually the reader is drawn into an outlaw world of back street idealism, paramilitary style violence and heroic self-sacrifice

No to EDL/SDL/BNP! Anti Fascist March in Glasgow 09

Anti-fascists march in Glasgow on 14th November 2009. The march was attended by socialists, trade unions, the church and other organisations as well as the mainstream political parties, some representatives of which held a joint banner condemning racism and fascism. An earlier demonstration was held throughout the morning in the city centre to ensure that there was no moment during the day in which the fascists could get a chance to organise racist activity. The first demo marched up to Cambridge St, part of which was blocked off by police as a group of fascists were in the Cambridge bar opposite the Thistle Hotel. After a long wait some demonstrators headed off to Glasgow Green where there was an anti-fascist rally whilst others remained at the police cordons in case more fascist thugs arrived or the ones already there came out and attempted to march. After the successful rally at which people from many organisations and political parties spoke, a demonstration numbering the 1000's left the Green and marched up to George Square. Some of the demonstrators arrived at George Square a bit earlier, then the rest came, headed by political representatives and female drummers She-Boom. This video shows the demonstrators marching up to George Sq after the rally. Some of the chants on the demo included "Black and white, unite and fight! Smash the SDL!" and "Nazi scum! Off our streets!" and "the BNP is a Nazi party, smash the BNP!" and "SDL - go to hell!" Manifestation contre la ...

Antifascists vs SDL at Kilmarnock station

SDL and antifascists clashed at Kilmarnock station on the morning of Saturday 19th June 2010. The so-called Scottish Defence League was planning a march in the town of Kilmarnock and anti-nazis also made their way there to try and prevent them. After earlier complaints about the planned demonstration the police agreed to just allow the SDL a static demonstration not a march and permission was granted for an anti-racist/anti-fascist march as well. However, anti-fascists were not happy at allowing the SDL any sort of demo as even a limited static one still gives the SDL an opportunity to spout their race hatred in public, especially when it's in the town centre. Some of the anti-fascists therefore arrived well before the main anti-fascist demonstration to try and prevent the SDL from reaching the square. A crowd of antifascists were already waiting at Kilmarnock Cross (the main square) and some arrived in the next train (the same train transporting about 17 SDL) with transport police keeping the two groups in separate carriages. This was the train from Glasgow. (A further dozen SDL arrived later. Total SDL numbers comprised mainly EDL English Defence League members up from England to boost their figures. Over 150 antifascists arrived later for the main anti-fascist demo which later marched to the park and where an anti-racist rally was held.) This group of SDL as soon as they got off the train just in front of the anti-fascists began chanting "SS SDL" aggressively and anti ...
