EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2011 honoring 100 Years of Naval Aviation This is a compilation of clips from AirVenture 2011 set to "Starlight" by Muse. My dad and I flew into Fond Du Lac on Saturday before the show opened, camped just outside the main gate, and left on the last day of the show. (9 days). This video was shot using a Panasonic TM900. Skip Stewart Airshows 2011 Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow Naval Air Station Pensacola Pensacola, Florida Friday November 11, 2011 Once again, you just have to LOVE Skip Stewart's aerobatic performance! This is the second of two solo aerobatic performances Skip flew on Friday - he replicated the routine he flew in the morning. It's actually the third time he flew on Friday - the second time was for Tinstix of Dynamite. I apologize for the black or white blips in the video, as I still have yet to figure out what causes it. US Navy Blue Angels 2011 Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow Naval Air Station Pensacola Pensacola, Florida Saturday November 12, 2011 The Blue Angels take to the skies to fly their LAST performance of the 2011 airshow season. First, Fat Albert takes to the skies for his performance, followed by the six Hornets in a FANTASTIC high show performance. I was able to get their ground show and you'll want to stick around to watch the entire video, as we have a bit of fun with some of the departing officers from the 2011 team. F-15E Strike Eagle Demonstration Strike Eagle Demo Team 2009 NAS Oceana Airshow Naval Air Station Oceana Virginia Beach, Virginia Saturday October 17, 2009 IN THIS VIDEO, Captains Phil "Ritz" Smith and Mike "Cash" Meade take this Strike Eagle through its paces in a truly flat show performance over NAS Oceana - the only time Ritz and Cash would fly over the entire weekend. Normally John "Gizmo" Cox would fly in the back seat but Ritz took the new demo pilot up for orientation - something that should have happened on Friday, but didn't. There was also no Heritage Flight because of the low clouds. It should also be noted that Major George "Dog" Clifford was also in attendance with the Viper East Demonstration Team, but Dog never got a chance to show off the F-16. I have yet to ask him why but two things come to mind - the weather, and the fact that the 20th Fighter Wing had a voluntary grounding due to a tragic accident that took place in the days prior to the NAS Oceana Airshow. I apologize for any bad color and/or vertical lines that may or may not be in this video. Once again, I have had some camera trouble throughout the weekend. It was also very windy, but I think I did well with the camera concerning the fact that it was, for the most part, cold, rainy, and windy for the entire weekend.
