| 'Boro Asa Kore' or 'The Wish' is the story of a street dweller who resides in the busy streets of Kolkata. The story revolves around his daily life and his simple wish to have 'good food and a good life'! One fine morning he is denied 'a cup of tea and a biscuit' for the shortage of a rupee. Dismayed, he tries hard to bargain with the tea-seller, yet fails. In his pensive moments, his eyes catch the glimpse of a wallet, dropped accidentally by a passerby. Being a day-dreamer, his mind immediately races into the thoughts of spending the windfall the wallet promised. After much work in evading the eyes of the onlookers, he finally lays his hands on the bag. What happens next! To his utter shock, he finds only a rupee in the wallet & some ATM cards----meaningless to him. Ultimately, he thanked the heavens for 'the cup of tea & biscuit' which he earned adding the rupee to his existing two rupees. The almighty provides you with what you deserve and what you need! |
