Bachelor degree project - LCD terminal with MODBUS @ IA51

My bachelor degree project - LCD terminal at architecture IA51 with MODBUS communication protocol. Code was written in Keil C, mostly in C, low level routines optimized in asm (chosen MCU AT89C51CC03 @ 22.118MHz @ X2 is not very fast). Terminal uses 240x128 LCD recyclated from some older bachelor project. :D FW contains something like VERY simple windows GUI, so everything user have to do is to design windows in special SW (also part of project) from basic objects and add generated sources into terminal code. Rest is done by the GUI functions (like button anctions or so). FW also implements basic MODBUS protocol (slave). Communication runs simultanously with rest of the application so data transfers don't block any other functions of the terminal.

Bachelor Project at Aalborg University Abstract: This project studies some of the different aspects of replayability in games and how procedural gener- ated plots can be used to increase replayability in story-based adventure games. The project report will explain which different elements of games that are important to consider in regards to replayability and what makes these differ- ent elements more replayable. The report will also describe an attempt to implement a procedural gen- erated plot engine in an experimental story-based adventure game with the purpose to study a chosen approach on how to increase replayability. This sto- ry-based adventure game was specifically designed for gamers with predisposition for the explorer ga- mer type and achiever gamer type in relation to theories of gamer psychology. The study on the experimental game remained in- conclusive in relation to whether or not the replaya- bility of the game was increased, but a tendency towards increased replayability was noted. The study revealed that there was no tendency for players with the explorer and achiever gamer psychology to rate the experimental game more replayable than gamers with other gamer psychologies. 3D Painting with the Kinect

This program was the outcome of our work with the Kinect while writing our Bachelor Project. We used OpenCV to create our finger detection algorithm. The hands are located using a mix of depth segmentation and skin detection, and we find the fingers using the convex hull along with a few other hacks. The whole thing was done using the unofficial OpenNI Kinect drivers.
