Bluhammock music is an independent label based in NYC for whom Brian handles commercials, film, television and operations for the label as well as day to day oversight of the new publishing company. S Squared Mobile Media is a new media start up seeking stage two funding and focusing on unique teen and tween entertainment for cell phones. Brians role with Disney included the overall development of talent, developing writer/artists and acquiring publishing rights not directly created by The Walt Disney Companys many entities. Under Rawlings direction, Disney built a contemporary music publishing catalog and created the four of the five biggest selling CDs in 2006-2007. This effort clicked huge with 2003s multi platinum THE CHEETAH GIRLS and continued through 2008 with CHEETAH GIRLS 2, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, HANNAH MONTANA, JUMP IN and HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2. At last count Rawlings work as a music publisher has garnered 22 number one singles and seen sales of over 100 million records. Brian has also achieved success working with artists as diverse as Jesse McCartney, Uncle Kracker, Donnie McClurkin, John Michael Montgomery, All 4 One, Faith Hill, Deep Purple, Amy Grant, Hilary Duff, Breaking Benjamin, Cher, Peter Cetera and Dolly Parton. |
