| Dongguan is in Guangdong Province, in the south-east of China. It has a population of around 7 million. Guangdong Province is one of China's most densely cultivated and most densely populated areas, and one of the country's economic powerhouses. Dongguan is often overlooked in favour of its bigger, better known neighbours Shenzhen and the provincial capital, Guangzhou, but as part of a cluster of high performing cities, it offers real opportunities for UK businesses. This video is part of a series on China's regional cities. Each video shows the size and scale of the city, its overall attractiveness as a place to live and work, and introduces potential business opportunities. The rapid rate of urbanisation, expansion and economic growth of these cities offers considerable opportunities across a wide range of industrial sectors and business activities.
