They Came From Beyond Space

Scientists investigate a mysterious meteorite shower that dropped space rocks in a V shape in a English field. Recovering from a recent accident, Dr. Richard Arden, preeminent in the field of extraterrestrial study, can not accompany his colleagues to investigate. At the site, they are overtaken by some alien force.Others people in the vicinity are dying from the mysterious "crimson plague". For unknown reasons, only Temple seems immune. So it is up to him to foil the alien plan to take humans to the moon for sinister purposes.

See genuine footage of the Nasa tool bag, accidentally dropped in space by one of their astronauts, as it hurtles around the earth at 17000 miles an hour. The object is no bigger than a briefcase you'd take to work but a Canadian astronomer managed to film it on his telescope.

Kid eats space Twinkie - High altitude balloon project

Geoff (14) and I spent over 8 months building and planning this flight. Geoff studied for and passed the FCC exam to operate a ham radio station so that we could track the balloon as it flew. One of the fun things Geoff wanted to test was what would happen to a Twinkie after a wild ride over 3x as high as the airlines fly :) So we sent an unwrapped Twinkie up to an altitude of 95 thousand feet above the earth strapped to a weather balloon - and then Geoff ate it. In addition to the Twinkie we sent up a marshmallow (which swelled as the pressure dropped and according to the kids tasted "normal") some cameras (a Go Pro HD and Canon G9 running CHDK) and temperature sensors connected to an Arduino...
