In fact, trying to be a one man or a one woman show for a few hours is a recipe for disaster. Now if you are, in fact, a stand up comic .... or just naturally hilarious, then go ahead and strut your stuff. For most of the rest of us, however, our goal should be to be humorous and entertaining. One liners are the surest way to elicit painful groans from the guests.
