| Seki City Japan knows about knives...and style. The Mcusta Tactility proves it. Here we find a capable EDC blade (and perhaps even emergency tactical blade) that embodies the fascinating oriental edged weapon. The Tactility has a streamlined, racey appearance with its 3.4" modified drop point with long top side swedge. Two styles of this blade are offered: solid VG-10 and 33 layer VG-10 Damascus. Hatoori Hanso would be proud of their sharpness levels, demonstrated slightly here. VG-10 again is high value performer with outstanding rust resistance, fine edge holding, and an ease of sharpening that we love. Laser cut M logos and rising sun logos are found, adding class and interest to the Tactility. Handle scales in current versions should undulating, organic milling. Take your pick of Quince Burl, Cocobolo, Black Micarta, or even bespeckled Corian as you choose your Tactility. While all are beautiful don't expect much in the traction department here. Coupled with the lack of jimping, perhaps a "presentation" sacrifice, that will restrict this knife from serious tactical employment in my book. But as an elegant and impressive EDC knife, collectible, and a perfect gift, the Mcusta Tactility might find greatness in your collection. With that in mind, the $125 price tag is fair as value and enjoyment are delivered in this ultra quality production folder.
