| A bomb attack at Russia's biggest airport has killed at least 35 people. The blast shook the international arrivals hall of Domodedovo Airport in Moscow. Russian media says planes from London, Brussels, as well as Egypt, Greece qnd Ukraine had just landed when the explosion hit the baggage reclaim area in the busy late afternoon. Some Russian sources have put the death toll at 50. Some 130 people are reported injured, 20 of whom are in a serious condition. Domodedovo is the busiest of Moscow's three airports. Some reports say the bomb was equivalent in power to 5 kilos of TNT. Authorities are apparently looking for three people in connection with the blast. International reaction has been swift. NATO has expressed its solidarity with Moscow against terrorism. Germany has condemned what it has called a "barbaric" and unjustifiable act. And France's President Sarkozy called the attack "odious." Moscow is no stranger to terrorism. Last March, two female suicide bombers from Russia's volatile Dagestan region set off explosives in the city's metro system, killing 40 people. Analysts had warned that rebels waging an Islamist insurgency in Russia's mainly Muslim North Caucasus were planning to increase their violent campaign in the Russian heartland as the country prepares for presidential elections next year.
